Lake Joe Pool Pumpkin Run
October 11, 2014

At every meeting the members repeat the Four Way Test which is a guide for conducting business and for use in personal relationships.
The Rotary Four Way Test states:
Of the things we think, say or do:
1. Is it the truth?
2. Is it fair to all concerned?
3. Will it build goodwill and better friendships?
4. Will it be beneficial to all concerned?
The 28th Annual Lake Joe Pool Pumpkin Run reaches out to youth and to families and doesn't just emphasize adult and elite runners.

Twenty-eight years ago the Grand Prairie Metro Rotary Club conducted the first Lake Joe Pool Pumpkin Run. Since that first event, the club has distributed over $435,000 to local and regional charities from funds raised by the Pumpkin Run.

Rotary is a worldwide organization of business and professional leaders that provides humanitari-an service, encourages high ethical standards in all vocations, and helps build good will and peace in the world.
